Farm to School:
Cultivating Healthy Kids and Communities

Started in 2001, Rogue Valley Farm to School (RVF2S) is part of a national network that connects schools, local farmers, and communities, cultivating healthy kids and local economies alike. It includes some 70,000 schools in 46 states. In Oregon, 25 school districts and community partners, supported by $10.2 million in state funding, currently participate.

Rogue Valley Farm to School, entering its 15th year, is without a doubt the “cream of the crop.”

Kathy Roselli

P.S. Kathy Roselli is also a filmmaker. Check out her short film about how RVF2S pivoted during Covid to distribute fresh produce to families through the schools: “Farm to Families.”
