The Women-In-Need (WiN) project provides support for the women and children of Dunn House, the only domestic violence shelter in Jackson County. Funds are raised by voluntary donations collected at Branch meetings. Among the items we’ve provided through these contributions are bedding, kitchen appliances and equipments, and digital locks. We also purchase bus passes for the residents.

In recognition of the numerous contributions by Ashland AAUW over the years, Community Works, the parent organization behind Dunn House, awarded our branch with one of their prestigious Visionary Awards at their black tie fundraiser in Spring 2014.
